To a colleague, a PhD student, a research lab: anyone who has not yet paid for a subscription. They create an account, or keep the one they already have.
They give your address
When subscribing, they enter the email address of your wondarchive account in the referrer field: at sign-up, in “Change plan”, or on the order page of a Laboratory or a Funded project.
You each receive credits
20 credits per euro incl. VAT they pay, rounded to the nearest hundred: theirs on payment, yours fourteen days later, once the withdrawal period has passed.
The scale, plan by plan
The same credits for the referrer and the referred person, with no limit on the number of referrals.

A simple page costs 2 credits, a page at maximum quality 10: 1,400 credits transcribe up to 700 simple pages. What a page costs.
The rules
- Referral applies to the referred person’s first paid subscription: a plan, a Laboratory or a Funded project. A credit pack, a storage extension, a renewal or a free access does not trigger it.
- The referrer has a wondarchive account; you cannot refer yourself, and an account names only one referrer, once.
- The referrer’s credits arrive fourteen days after the referred person’s payment, provided it has not been refunded. If the referrer has no current subscription at that time, the credits wait and are paid with their first paid subscription.
- Like those of a pack, these credits never expire and are used after the yearly credits; they are neither refundable nor convertible into cash.
- Each of you follows referrals and credits on the Account page of your reading room.
